Multiple Calypso fixtures (DMX control)

1. Fasten the Calypso fixture(s) onto firm trussing. Leave at least 0,5 meter on all sides for air circulation.

2. Make sure that the powercables of all Calypso fixtures are unplugged.

3. Use a 3-p XLR cable to connect the Calypso fixture(s).

4. Link the units as shown in figure 4 on the next page, Connect a DMX signal cable from the first unit's

DMX "out" socket to the second unit's DMX "in" socket. Repeat this process to link the second, third,

and fourth units.

5. Make sure that each unit is set up as master unit.

F1: OFF = master

F2: No function in DMX

6. Give each unit its appropriate address, Make sure that one unit uses 4 DMX channels so each

address should advance 4 units. E.g.: 1-5-9-13-17 etc. See ”Dipswitch settings for DMX mode” at page

7. Supply electric power: Plug the end of the mains power cord into a suitable electric power supply

sockets. Do so for all units and the controller. Do not supply power before the whole system is set up

and connected properly.
